I'm guessing you guys misunderstood what the OP meant. In my car I can set a limiter at, say, 30mph around town. Cruise control is a bit scary in traffic. But with a speed limit set, I don't worry about getting a ticket.

As a car driver, I usually drive around 10% to 20% over the limit, so around 55-60 in cities, 90 outside city and around 130-140 on highways. Do Truck drivers really drive below or at least not over the speed limit? The highway limit is 80 like outside city, but I would drive around 100 there
Can someone help me? I have one of the best trucks in the game, disabled the truck speed limiter in the settings, and I still cannot go over 90 km/h (around 56 mph) unless I am going downhill, even though the speed limit is 96 km/h. Go to My Documents> Euro Truck Simulator 2> profiles> choose your profile (usually a set of characters, not the name)> config.cfg. Open config.cfg notepad or any text program (except Microsoft Word)> find the line: uset g_use_speed_limiter "1" The value "1" at the end, change to "0". Save. Done!
