Possible fix: Restore the backup save game [citation needed] Navigate to Save game data location. Create a copy of the whole save folder on another location so a backup is available. Rename or delete SaveGame00.sav; Rename Backup00.sav to SaveGame00.sav; Run the game and see if the backup save can be read.
Yes you can have multiple save files. In the main menu, the “continue” selection will pick up on the last used save file. The selection below that which says something like “load Journey” allows you to choose from up to 5 different saves. This is on PC but I imagine it is the same on all platforms. But I found that in Steam, under "View -> Screenshots -> Fallen Order", you can right click a picture there and go "show in folder" and it will take you to the folder. In my case, it was this folder, that the screenshots were saved to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\449033351\760\remote\1172380\screenshots. #11.
I have 12 or so hours in the game, I finally fought Ninth sister and went through the majority of Dathomir. And when I log in today I'm back at the beginning of Kashyk, aka 5+ hours before I ended at. So I'm trying to Verify, but didn't work, and now I'm gonna try to reinstall, but I don't know how I feel about having to replay 5 hours of the exact same ♥♥♥♥ I did last night. I don't If you want to play the game but not install the EA app you can do so by following this route. "SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\Jedi Fallen Order\\SwGame\\Binaries\\Win64\\SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe" Or you can right click on the game in the library and go to local files. There follow: "\\SwGame\\Binaries\\Win64\\SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe" Good luck and may the force be with you.
For Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on the PlayStation 4, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Wait. does this game not auto save?".
You can skip origin if you edit a certain file inside the game directory (and even skip using steam running the game executable there). You can then use steam to run it, but you need to use steam edit to associate the "originless" executable in steam client, but doing that is essentially useless because you don't have cloud saving and achievements.

You just saved me!!!! thx. SaveGame00.sav. Now, rename Backup00.sav to SaveGame00.sav. After this is done, run the game, and see if it picks up the backup save file and restores your save data. If this doesn’t work, your save file is probably beyond saving, and we recommend starting a new playthrough. While you’re here, make sure you check out our other guides for All planets say "Explored" (not sure about final level - have no way of checking), got every chest, and every secret. 100% on your load screen would be chests, secrets and % of planets explored. God I hate 100% exploration, every save since my first has been 98/97% exploration, all chests and secrets. I'm not hunting down every nook and cranny 2lrM.
